Over half of all Republican members of the House of Representatives are prepared to support an effort to remove Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) as Chair of the House GOP Conference, according to Breitbart.
It has been reported that approximately 115 House Republicans are committed to voting in favor of a “no confidence” motion on Cheney’s leadership, which could allow for Cheney to be removed and replaced. The position is the third highest-ranking role in House GOP leadership, only behind the House Minority Whip and House Minority Leader.
These developments reflect a growing tidal wave of backlash from Republicans against Cheney, who led a handful of Republicans to vote in favor of impeaching President Donald Trump a second time. As previously reported, Cheney has already been formally censured by at least one county GOP central committee in her home state of Wyoming, after the Carbon County GOP unanimously passed a resolution condemning her vote against Trump.
Multiple members of Congress, including Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Bob Good (R-Va.), and Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), have called for Cheney to step down or be removed from her leadership role.
If Cheney were to be removed, possible replacements for her in the third senior-most position include Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.).

A word of warning…be careful what you wish for. Blackburn and Hagerty are far from perfect, but you could end up with someone far worse if you’re not careful. I speak from some experience…MA used to occasionally have Republican Senators and Representatives, but they were never perfect, and in our zeal for “perfection” we ended up with the likes of Warren, Markey, Moulton, Pressley et al. With the exception of a brief period after the death of Teddy (the idiot younger brother of Jack & Bobby), it’s been decades since we’ve had a single Republican in Congress. It’s not that there aren’t a lot of Republicans here, but we are utterly unable to compromise on small things in pursuit of the greater good. One of the reasons Republicans are never able to sustain success is that we have an ugly tendency to eat our young.
One would hope Wyoming will replace the War Dodger/Monger’s daughter in the next House primaries. It should not be difficult to find a conservative Republican in Wyoming. It ain’t Maine. And with the death of Sheldon Adelson, it will be interesting to see whether the GOP congressional delegation remains in the pocket of the Israel-First donors, namely the late Mr. Adelson.
Statewide, I’d love to see the GOP do the same with Kustoff.

She should resign her leadership position and get beat in the next primary! Where is Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty? They need to come out and public state why they did not keep their promise to vote for election integrity with Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley! Where is the Tennessee GOP? why aren’t they calling them out for not keeping their promises? The GOP House delegation kept their promise except for David Kustoff! Kustoff needs a primary opponent. I will not support the TN gop until they start making our elected officials be accountable to Tennesseans!
Who would have known Kustoff wouldn’t be trustworthy? I bet he would vote to preserve our “Freedoms” and “Values” if it involved a war for our Greatest Ally™
